Raven had Foxy, a 29" tall AMHA/AMHR silver dapple gelding, for years and learned so much from him.  Foxy was a bit grumpy with adults but he adored Raven and would do anything for her.  Foxy and Raven were pretty much inseparable.  She spent every moment she could with him and her life revolved around him.  He truly was her best friend... when she wasn't outside with him (which was usually only if she was at school) her days were spent writing stores about him or drawing pictures of him.

Raven and Foxy always did well in the Youth Halter classes, both locally and at the National level, with Top Tens.  He was small for a mini (embarrassingly enough we called him "The Snausage") but he showed his heart out every time for Raven and they both won the Judges over!

Raven created many stories and odes to Foxy, and most of her drawings included her main man.  Here is an example:

Foxy was a one-in-a-million gelding, and was kid-tested and mother approved.  We will never forget him and he will always be in our hearts.  There is nothing more sacred than the bond between a child and her horse.
