Geldings

    Ruff N Tuff Miniatures firmly believes that geldings have a very important place in every breeding program.  Geldings are currently overlooked and undervalued in the breed, and we hope to promote them to our fullest capability.  They are perfect family horses and always the best first choice for a youth to show.  We believe only exceptional colts should be stallions, and we geld even good quality horses.  Our geldings are shown, promoted, and loved!

RUFF N TUFFS LMHAWKS IMA WANTED MAN  "Manny"

Manny is a wonderful boy with the personality and temperament that his sire Nighthawk is known for. Manny is quiet and willing to please. Heck, how can you not love a horse who walks up to you and waits to get his ears clipped inside and out without even a halter on!  He went to Nationals in 2006 and came home with a top ten in Youth Halter.  

MARYSTOWN HI TECH ECHO  "Casper"

"Casper" is one of those solid "all around" geldings that continues to prove himself in the show ring in  jumping, obstacle, halter, liberty, and color.  He is our smallest horse at 29.50 inches but without a doubt he has the biggest heart.  Casper has several National Top Tens in both AMHA and AMHR. We are honored to have Casper be such an important part our family!

Wild Oaks JumpStartMyHeart  "Jumper" 2005 AMHA/AMHR

With  limited showing this little 29.00 inch colt has proven he has what it takes. In 2006 he was the AMHA World Futurity Reserve Champion. He also placed 3rd in his open Halter class at AMHA World show.
Back in the ring  in 2007 Jumper once again came home with top tens from the AMHA world show in both  his futurity and open halter classes.
Jumper has shown to have a wonderful disposition, willing to please and quite the  gentleman. In a short time Raven has him ready to go in Hunter and Obstacle. As soon as we have him gelded he will be ready for Raven to take him in the ring. :-)

2002 AMHA/AMHR

Vinny is a 32" tall son of Alvadars Double Destiny (who is one of the top Halter stallions in the history of AMHA holding 10 AMHA National  Champion Halter Titles).  Vinny not only has a wonderful pedigree but the conformation and disposition to back it all up. Vinny is truly a one of a kind gentleman who posses a sweet and willing personality along with wonderful conformation and extreme presence . We are so grateful to Rivertown Miniatures in MN for allowing Vinny to come back home to us.
