Our mares are as carefully selected as our stallions. Because a mare is responsible for not only half of her foal's genes but for it's social development for the first few months, our mares must have excellent temperaments and dispositions and be excellent mothers. Each and every mare is sweet, friendly, and are very consistent producers. Our mares are treasured, and we assist each and every birth.

D. M. Dirty Dancer
From the first moment I saw Dancer at the 2006 National show I couldn't take my eyes off of her and knew no matter what I had to have her. Not only is she a beautiful moving horse but she has so much presence you can't help but notice her in a crowded arena. She is such a character-full of herself and quite the drama queen. Dancer does however have one weakness- she has quite the sweet tooth and will do just about anything for Candy Hearts or Jelly beans!

Ruff N Tuffs Just One Look
Looker got her name because with just one look I knew she would mature into everything we were looking for in a mare. She is easy going, correct, has a wonderful free-flowing trot and good bloodlines to boot! She has had only one foal so far in 2005 and he is a wonderful little colt that has her good looks as well as her disposition.
After five years of being a pasture pony we decided to put her back to work in the show ring and she came home with Reserve Grand Champion Mare!

Magic exceeded our expectations for her as a show horse when she was a yearling at the 2002 AMHR Nationals showing in two classes... she took a 3rd and an 8th (out of 41 horses in her Open Halter class!) She has placed consistently in halter (Amateur, Open, and Youth) including a Reserve National Champion with Raven in Youth halter (out of three) we are so proud of them! She is the farm clown and is always into something - just a pleasure to be around.

Marble is a double registered AMHA/AMHR mare. She has proven to be a wonderful broodmare- being very consistent and able to "set type." Many have done very well not only in the breed ring but showing ADS as well. Marble is a bit set in her ways and likes things to be very consistent. She to demands her candy hearts and jelly beans! Here is a sampling of what Marble produces:

Koebecks Morning Dove
Dove is an AMHR registered palomino few spot appaloosa. We owned a palomino leopard appy son of hers (he is on our home page) and when the chance came to get her we couldn't pass it up. We realize Dove isn't a "beauty queen" but she can MOVE. This horse has amazing extension and passes it on to her foals. Her foals have done very well in both CDE and the ADS ring. To date all of her foals have been appy.
